PAEs is a class of the environmental hormone organic pollutants and a class of the priority pollutants in the pollutants blacklist of United States Environmental Protection Agency(USEPA) and China, and Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is one of the control compound that specifically required in the Water Quality Standards for Urban Water Supply of Ministry of Construction and National hygienic Standard of Living Water of Ministry of Health. As the developing of the social economy, the the acceleration of the industrialization, and as well as, because of it’s the potential toxicity and long-dated high fatalness, it is now has become a potential threat to the water quality. Currently, the biodegradation of DEHP has become one of the hot spot issue in the research of DEHP at home and abroad. This paper is based on the project of Ministry of Education, Research on the Characteristics of DEHP Biodegradable Bacteria and its Metabolic Patterns(project:20100043110009). DEHP was set as the tested pollutant, and four bacterial strains was screened from the activated sludge of the chemical polluted water treatment factory of Jilin. The growth and degradation conditions of the active bacterial strains was determined, and the characteristics of DEHP degradation in the biofilm reactor was studied.Under the condition of pure culture, the optimal growth characteristics of strains Z-1, Z-2, Z-3and Z-4was tested. The results showed that the optimal growth temperatures, pH and DEHP initial concentrations of Z-1, Z-2, Z-3and Z-4were30℃, pH=8~10,2000mg/L;30℃, pH=7-8,2000mg/L;25℃, pH=7-8,2000mg/L;25~30℃, pH=8-10,750mg/L. The results indicated that temperature, pH and DEHP initial concentration had a significant effect of the degradation.In the paper, new nano-suspended-stuffing was USD to degrade DEHP contained wastewater. The strains of Z-1, Z-2, Z-3and Z-4was used to build the biofilm reactor. COD, T-N and T-P was determined to evaluate the biofilm reactor in the period of biofilm formation, aeration for8h in each period, and after15days the biofilm reactor reactor was stable, the remove of COD, T-N and T-P were70-80%,40-60%and20-30%. After the stable of the reactor, the successive inflow of the reactor was started, and the concentrations of COD, T-N and T-P in the inflow were400-440mg/L,25-40mg/L and4.1-6.4mg/L,.After successive aeration, the remove of COD, T-N and T-P in the outflow were80-90%,40~60%and20-30%which indicated a favorable effect.
