| In1952, Chairman Mao zedong put forward the grand vision of South-to-North Water Diversion to change the situation of water resources distribution in China.For this Purpose, a large number of experts in science and technology had done a great deal of field survey and measurement and analysised more than50programs.At last the following general layout of South-to-North Water Transfers has been worked out:three water transfer projects, i.e. Western Route Project (WRP) and Middle Route Project (MRP) and Eastern Route Project (ERP).The project will connect with Yangtze River, Huaihe River and Yellow River after built and form the overall structure of China’s water resources of "Four horizontal and three vertical, north and south of deployment, east and west of supplementâ€Eastern Route Project (ERP) pass Zaozhuang city, which puts forword higher requirements to the water quality in Zaozhuang. The sewage discharged from Zaozhuang University eventually flow into the Dasha River after flowing through several small streams and the Dasha River eventually flow into the part in Zaozhuang of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which is one of the parts of ERP. So to ensure the water quality of South-to-North Water Diversion, it’s necessary to treat the sewage discharged from Zaozhuang University.At the same time, in order to the loss of groundwater resulted from irrigation and everyday life, reuse of the water after treatment has great significance.The design intend to choose an economical wastewater treatment technique that uses hydrolysis(acidification) instead of traditional first settling pond and combines the effctive and new bio-film packing with biological contact oxidation. It can effctively remove the BOD, COD, NH3—N and SS in the wastewater, and then the output water can satisfy the Standard of treatment and reuse.The project put into trial operation in the end of December2010and was Checked and accepted by the Environmental Protection Bureau. In2011May, the project came into operation. In the operation, the removal of main ogranic Pollutants are:the average of BOD76%, the average of COD93%, the average of SS94.6%, the average of NH3—96.7%. This technique of wastewater treatment plant, the combination of hydrolysis biological reaction pond and biological contact oxidation pond, has great advantages in treating the sewage. The technique also has good shock-resisting baility, so it can work steadily and the effct of treating wastewater and sludge is satisafctoy. |
