Along with the development of coal enterprise and the coal science and technology,the large-scale mine continuous construction these years and the high output and highprofits intensivism coal mines’ number is extended rapidly. Using "one colliery onesurface" high production and efficiency is the trend of development. Compared withother extracting coal faces, the high production and efficiency face has followingcharacteristics: use fully-mechanized coal mining technology, the generating unit’s coalcutting speed is continuous, high drawing speed of working face, little coal drop, morepowder coal, working face length and strike length is longer, transport of coal is faster.The Pingdingshan coal mine in this paper has lower coal seam gas content, but thegas emission is rapid increasing because of high mining strength, the concentration ofproduct, the thick seam slicing system and the neighbouring layers’ distance are toosmall, those cause the gas agglomeration in air-return way especially in upper corner.This problem become the main obstacles which restricting the high production and highefficiency, in the meantime compose great threat to the safety of production.This paper has analysed the structure of gas sources, gas emission characters, thetime and space distribution regularities, and the relation between gas emission, miningtechnical condition and geological factors in high production and efficiency face.Proposed dynamic different-source prediction method based on the traditionaldifferent-source prediction method which suitable for high production and efficiencyface. Proposed the proportional coefficient prediction method based on the gas emissionregularity in mined-out area.Through measuring and connection with some existing research results, get theforecasting parameters of gas emission in Pingdingshan mine, established the predictionmethod of gas emission quantity suitable for high production and efficiency face inPingdingshan coal mine, in order to guide safe Production. This has important practicalsignificance of working out the plan and further prevention and control of mine gas.
