Ink-jet printing technology has been widely used in the field of digital printing for itseasy operation and low cost. With the development of ink-jet printing, the printing quality hasto be improved. It is hoped that a image with a higher resolution detail reproduction can beprinted with ink-jet printing. This study is mainly based on the modulation transfer function toestablish a quality evaluation of inkjet printing system. The MTF has to be measured andcompensated to improve the printing quality of ink jet printing system. In this paper we firststudy how to obtain the MTF of ink-jet printing, and then we analysis the existing three MTFmeasuring methods, finally we choose the Jang&Allebach method as the most suitable inkjet printing MTF method. At the same time, in order to improve the printing quality, wepropose to compensate the measured MTF and through the experiment to prove ourcompensation improve the quality of ink jet printing. |
