One-side welding double-side molding is a kind of high efficient welding technology, it can not only save welding material but also save back gouging process, greatly improve production efficiency under the premise of welding quality, so it has been widely applied in the industry production. Pottery backing CO2welding and FCB three wires submerged arc welding are also the one-side welding double-side molding technology, they get a rapid development in recent years, and been used more in the field of shipbuilding currently.Numerical simulation technology is also been called the computer simulation technology, it is a numerical solution of the mathematical study problem, with the computer as a tool, by means of numerical analysis and image displaying method, for some engineering problems, physical problems and all kinds of problems of nature. Numerical simulation of welding process use the finite element analysis software to the simulate the change of welding phenomenon (the temperature field, stress field and so on), it can be equivalent to a virtual welding process, can get some characteristics of welding process without welding, and then, has a very important guiding significance of the welding production for getting the optimization parameters and structural design.In this paper, the large-scale general finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to simulate the welding temperature of pottery backing CO2welding and FCB three wires submerged arc, and then the welding thermal process was researched and analyzed. According to the theory of knowledge welding of the heat transfer and finite element analysis, the pottery backing CO2welding temperature field finite element model under the action of a moving heat source was established. The model adopted double ellipsoid heat source distribution mode, the double ellipsoid distribution mathematical expressions of the arc was used, and the welding arc heat source to heat the form through the ANSYS array table conversion was applied to the welding, got the welding temperature field under the effect of double ellipsoid heat source. Through the observation of the changes of the temperature field of welding, observed the change of welding temperature field in welding start and quasi steady and the final stage, understand the characteristics of whole welding thermal process. Calculated each node of weld cross section in the temperature changes in the quasi steady state, studied the heat transfer law of weld. At the same time, studied the effect of the welding temperature field by adjusted the welding process parameters of welding current, such as voltage, welding speed, assembling clearance. The presence of ceramic liner can affect the heat transferring of the metal molten pool, therefore, this paper studied the effect of welding temperature field of the metal transfer mode between ceramic liner and the molten pool.Combined with the practical, studied the law of the weld microstrucrure by observing the weld micro structure after welding. In addition, the temperature field of FCB method three wires submerged arc welding was simulated in this paper, and the temperature field distribution was observed, as a foundation for the subsequent welding simulation research.
