This article analyzes the present research of water resources evaluation, and discussesthe meaning of this job from the actual situation of Bei’an city. According to the waterresources shortage situation of Bei’an city, on the basis of detailed analysis of thehydrogeological conditions of this area, Physical properties and chemical characteristics,water quality and water resources quantity of the groundwater,etc, this article evaluatesgroundwater resources of Bei’an city synthetically.Water resources are indispensable in people’s lives and production process.Groundwater is an important part of the water resources, which has a lot of characteristicssuch as good water quality, widely distributed and stable water, and it is a valuable watersupply source of the city, mining, irrigation, animal husbandry, national defense projectsand so on. With the construction and development of cities and industrial and miningenterprises, the amount of demand groundwater is increasing now.At the same time, soilsalinization, nearby buildings slope landslide, ground subsidence and a lot of otherproblems occur. In order to use groundwater reasonably and effectively, we must evaluatewater resources on time.Water resources evaluation generally include water quality assessment, evaluation ofwater quantity, water resources utilization evaluation and comprehensive evaluation, andfollow the principle of integrated assessment of surface water and groundwater. Accordingto the emphasis of the work, this article only evaluates quality and quantity ofgroundwater of this area.Bei’an located at the northwest of Heilongjiang Province, is located in the equidistance of the capital city Harbin, the western industrial city Qiqihar and the northerncity Heihe which trades with Russia, its location advantages are obvious. With theexpansion of the scale of Bei’an, the development of industry and the improvement ofpeople’s living standards, demand for water is increasing sharply, the shortage of waterresources has been a bottleneck restricting the economic and social development in Bei’an.Therefore, it has a very important realistic significance to develop urban groundwaterresource evaluation, grasp the situation of quantity and quality of groundwater resourcesin the area.This paper introduces the regional geology and regional geohydrology of this areafirstly, and then grasps the characteristics of this area, the main types of groundwater andthe characteristics of aquifer rock group macroscopically. Further, from the analysis of thisarea groundwater types, groundwater enrichment partitions, groundwater rechargeconditions, dynamic balance and so on, this paper researches the area’s hydrogeologyfeatures. Based on this, through investigations, sample analysis and other ways, this paperresearches Physical and chemical properties of the groundwater, water quality, waterenvironment quality and so on, at last we have calculated the amount of this area’sgroundwater quantity, especially in the calculation of amount of the cretaceous fissurepore confined water, we have done experiments on stable flow pumping test and unsteadyflow pumping tests, and have calculated T、K、S by AQUIFER TEST exploitated byHydrogeologic Company and have had a good results.Through the evaluation of the work, we find that the Quaternary unconsolidated rockpore water in the Wuyu’er and Garonne floodplains is low-salinity freshwater whosehydrological parameters meet mining demand as water supply purposes layer. Amongthem the cretaceous fissure pore confined water is mainly HCO3-Ca Na and HCO3-Natypes, which is natural soda, especially near Wang Shandong and Dongsheng the contentof Na+is181.10-189.00mg/l, the content of HCO32-is361.59-385.93mg/l, pH is8.04-8.08,being a valuable mineral water resources and beneficial to humans.And it has a broaddevelopment prospects. But the cretaceous fissure pore confined water has a high level of H2SiO3which is up to33.80mg/l and Sr is up to1.516mg/l, that reaches natural mineralwater standard of GB.Under the premise of strengthening the protection it can be used asthe development of small-scale mineral water.
