With its increasing important role in fields of eivil-deefnse, aviation and astronauties, Preeision and ultra-Preeision machining wins extensive care, and is one of tokens to mark manufacturing technology level of aocuntry. Being a kind of important processing method of precision and ultra-precision machining, the solid abrasive surface grinding technology has also been increasingly valued. It gets not only higher machining accuracy and efficiency but also lower processing cost and lower requirement for the equipment precision and personnel operation. However, as there are many factors influencing the surface grinding, the workpiece surface formation is very complicated. Therefore, high surface accuracy and low surface roughness have been got using the surface grinding technology, but the research for the processing mechanism is still not perfect enouth.In this article the45steel slices widely used domesticly is used as test specimen, and UNIPOL-802surface grinding machine for experimental platform. Through the application of computer simulation analysis and experimental verification, the authour focuses on studying surface grinding of workpiece speed and the surface quality. The main contents:Systematicly conclude the Basic concepts related to surface grinding technology, discuses the related properties of abrasive, the abrasive shape, the characteristics of process parameters and selection principles. Then suppose abrasive cutting edge as ball crown shape, think abrasive particles as uniformly distribution in the grinding machine. Analyze the stress of a single particle and deformation of the binder in the grinding process.The influence factors of the workpiece rotating speed was analyzed in surface grinding process. Under the premise of the abrasive coverage ratio as100%, carry out the analysis of pressure distribution of the contact area between the grinding machine and the workpiece, and friction torque suffered by the grinding machine during solid abrasive surface grinding process. According to the torque balance principle at the time of stable process and result of the test, it can be got the relationship among the workpiece speed, speed ratios and eccentricity, grinding speed during on the UNIPOL-802surface grinding machine.The single particle motion relative to the workpiece is deduced. Simulation of single particle trajectories is carried out using the Matlab software, investigate the factors of infection them, confine the conception of surface grinding trajectory uniformity, and construct the mathematics models about particle distribution, the selected study areas. Simulate the particle trajectories relative to the selected study area by C laguage programme, and stat the grinding trajectories distribution. Focus on investigating the effection of speed rotio, linear eccentricity, and the grinding machine rotation speed and then get to the set of method to judge the quality of grinding surface quality depend on computer.Based on the laboratory test equipment, study the influence of eccentricity, grinding speed on the surface quality and verify the conclusion of the computer simulation analysis mentioned in chapter4, at the same time, in the process of surface grinding, the reasons of the workpiece surface nick and avoidances method have been also studied, it is concluded that the randomly distributed outstanding grits on the grinding machine is the main factor of causing deep nick of the surface.
