| Machine tool is the core of manufacturing sector.lt plays a crucial role in industrialization. As a kind of tool vibration,chatter always makes quality of workpiece surface worse,causes noise pollution,and even spoils tool and other parts,so it restricts severely the development of the high-accurary and high-efficiency tool.For the above reasons, it is of importance for improving performance of machine tool to research chatter mechanism, as the basis of chatter restriction.Based on the study of chatter mechanism and test,the paper which considers CA6136tool as study object designs and completes cutting chatter experiment,modal testing of turning lathe,hammer testing of toolpoint.Using experimental data,stability analysis for that lathe is conducted.First, the lathe is handled from stability to unstability through changing the DOC at the different rotating speed.At the same time,the data is collected from toolpoint,spindle and tailstock.The chatter frequency is found after analyzing collected information.Second,with the view of determining primary chatter object,lathe modal testing which is processed by the way of SISO is finished,during which modal parameters are obtained.The response function of the toolpoint is gotten by conducting toolpoint modal testing.Then,primary vibrating object is decided.At last,with the help of the data has obtained,the stability lobe diagram is finished.Combining the experimental information,lobe diagram is analyzed in detail and the best rotating speed is presented as well as the best DOC. |
