It is one extraordinary complicated high temperature, polyphase physical chemical process to steelmaking-continuous casting. By reasons of enchancement factor and operation factor interference in smelting proocess, for quite some time, the problen of process control and End-Hitting is always the difficulty in smelting. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the liquid steel temperature prediction system of steel making-continuous casting process at whole stages.This article will be based upon FuJian SanMing steel works’steelmaking real production data, incorporate with the steelmaking-continuous casting technical process, analyses the effects for each factor towards end point temperature in smelting, ascertained the controlled variable for end point temperature, and establishhed the end point temperature’s prediction model which is base on the multi-element regression. The model is to simulate the temperature changes of the process as liquid steel ladle out from the converter, refining and reach the casting platform, and it can also predict the liquid steel temperature of a variety operating conditions at any time. The simulation results were verified by SanMing steel works’real production data, the difference of temperature between the model prediction and the actual measured in±10℃for more than85%. The results show that the predicted of liquid steel temperature and measured values with good agreement.Based on the prediction model, the initial temperature system of steel making-continuous casting process is established. And then use the retrieval algorithm for case retrieval based on case-based reasoning, such as endpoint temperature, composition and the current working conditions. Then we can use the search results guide the production, predict the end point temperature of liquid steel by the temperature prediction model of the current condition. Then we can make the liquid steel temperature range in a reasonable scope combined with off-line adjustment. In order to preferable explanation the feasibility of liquid steel temperature control based on case-based reasoning technology, this article validate the model using the production data, the experimental results that the method is feasible to achieve the production guidance and the prediction in liquid steel temperature, and provide a new way for the steel production.
