In this paper, the high-performance lubricated bearings technology on the spindle andthe principle of form grinding have been studied, then, according the the requirements of theform grinding process of the rack, the spindle system of the forming grinding Machine toolhas been designed.First, according to the forming method of the grinding process and the machine tool’sdesign requirements, chose the type of spindle’s components, the power of the motor. Thendesigned the feeding mechanism of the spindle.About the bearing, the liquid hybrid bearingshad been chosed.Next, according to the amount of grinding and the grinding force, calculated the stuctureparameters of the liquid hybrid bearing, then its supply system had also been designed. Byusing the Computational Fluid Dynamics’s software-CFX to do the numerical simulationabout the oil film of liquid hybrid bearing, obtained the pressure distribution on the innersurface of the oil film. Then, according to the changes of the Bearing capacity with the smalldisplacement disturbance, obtained the kinetic parameters of the liquid hybridbearing.Established the physical model for the spindle, by using ANSYS to carry out thestatic analysis of the spindle, in order to check the intensity of the spindle. Through modalanalysis, abtained the natural vibration frequencies and mode shapes of the spindle.Last, the measuring projector had been used in order to detect the profile error and pitcherror of the rack processed by the forming grinding Machine, then analysis the datas fromthe measurement.
