With the rapid development of iron and steel industry, higher demands for castingequipment and technology out. In order to enhance the production capacity of the castingmachine, reduce slab straightening cracks in order to improve the quality of slab, it isnecessary to billet straightening technology for more in-depth research, and furtheroptimize the straightening scheme.This paper taking An gang R9300as reference, with reference to the latest designstandards, design a new type of continuous straightening curve. The curve reducescasting machine body height, extension of continuous bending and straightening segmentlength, reducing the strain rate, effectively reduce or avoid the straightening cracks. Thearticle also effectively taking into account the uniformity of solid-liquid two-phasechange of strain rate and high temperature creep properties of steel, making the designmore reasonable.In this paper, with the help of the finite element analysis software Marc, athree-dimensional model is set up, by means of numerical simulation analysis oftemperature field and thermal coupling of stress and strain. Dynamic showed each timedifferent positions of the temperature, tress, strain rate change. Analysis of temperaturefield, according to the simulation results, through calculation and analysis, draw thedifferent positions of the billet shell thickness curve, analyzed the reason of the differentpositions in billet shell thickness change. In coupled thermo-mechanical analysis, thismodel combined with the former research results, to further explore and realize thecasting blank first and under dynamic3d simulation and also considered the molten steelstatic pressure and the influence of gravity, the simulation results and the actual resultsmore close to. The theory and simulation results being combined, we verified thesuperiority of the straightening curve, also found the close between straightening curveand multipoint straightening.
