Zno is one of the Metal oxide gas sensitive material who got further research andextensive use.its production cost is low and performance a good stability but thesensitivity depend on its exposed crystal face and the number of the crystalline grainLocated in the surface of the materials. Through the nanotechnology we can producednanometer Zno have high surface specific area to improve its gas sensitivity.In this paper,we use Zinc acetylacetonate as precursor Different structure nano-sizedZno were synthesized by hydrothermal method Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)were used to evaluate the structure and composition. On the base of it.ZnO weresynthesized by through the following process:Let Zinc acetylacetonate precursord dispersed in triethylene glycol, pure ethanol,oronly dispersed in water directly5ml water. Strip structure Zno can be synthesized througha simple heat treatment.The morphology of the product is always depend on Theproportion of different components.Zinc acetylacetonate dispersed in triethylene glycol and water,put carbon spheres astemplate in the mixture ZnO/carbon spheres structure were formed in a high-pressurereaction kettle,the grain size depend on the carbon spheres.Then hollow structure ZnO canbe synthesized at a high temperature.Make the samples into gas sensor and do a study on its gas sensitivity in differentconcentration anthyol or acetone gas. All of the samples performance the best sensitivityat the temperature of350℃and the sensitivity rise quickly at first and then rise tend to begentlely The sample we obtained in anthyol as dipersant condition performed the bestsensitivity,in80ppm anthyol gas is8.114, in110ppm acetone gas is7.213;The sample wegot in no dispersant condition also performed a good sensitivity,in80ppm anthyol and110ppm acetone gas is6.924、6.033; The sensitivity of hollow structure samples performancea longer tres-trec Both of the two type gas sensor performed a good long term stablitity.
