Whether the slope of the open-pit mine is stable or not directly affect thenormal mining, the safety of equipment and person, and the economic benefitsof mine. The stability of the slope of the open-pit mine is affected by manyfactors, blasting vibration is one of the important human factors which affectthe stability of the slope of the open-pit mine.This article take the near-border controlled blasting engineering of theArea C of the Baiyunebo East iron mine as the basis, through three small holepre-splitting blasting experiment with the hole radius is110mm, under thesame geological conditions, on the basis of the existing effective seismic datacombined with the actual mining situation of the mine, through the distance ofthe hole, the hole radius and the line charge density to study on the effect ofcontrolled blasting to the near-border slope, to find out the relationshipbetween the three as well as on the effect of pre-splitting blasting, thusdetermine the reasonable blasting parameters to reduce the harm of blastingvibration on slope stability. Blasting experiment analysis on the generation andpropagation mechanism of blasting vibration wave, and the attenuation laws, as well as the blasting seismic wave frequency, seismic wave acceleration andother factors effect on slope stability.In view of the effect of the blasting vibration on slope rock mass, it isnecessary to test the blasting vibration to find out attenuation law of blastingvibration, to minimize the dangers of blasting vibration on the slope. To beaimed at the actual slope situation of the Area C of the Baiyunebo East ironmine, the blasting vibration test carry out6times, blasting vibration attenuationlaw of the Area C of East iron mine can be drawn based on the blastingvibration waveform analysis, so as to find out the most important factor whichinfluence vibration velocity. Through studying on these main factors, we candetermine the reasonable blasting parameters and a reasonable blasting method,this will be extremely vital significance to the production blasting of mine andblasting against slope implementation.This article in view of the slope status of Baiyunebo open-pit mine,through three small hole pre-splitting blasting experiment, analyzing blastingvibration on the stability of open-pit mine slope from the blasting vibration,some measures which can effectively reduce the harm of blasting vibration onslope stability are proposed.
