With the rapid development of the national economy, Rare earth materials are usedmore and more widely in many fields, the increase in the amount of rare earth materials andthe constraints of the production process often resulted in serious environmental pollution.Currently, Technology research of dealing with high concentrations of ammonia has beenmade a lot of by many scholars, and lots of result has been obtained. Because of the rareearth resources are mainly in China, and primary processing of rare earth are smelting rare-earth are resource-rich regions in the country, research of rare earth wastewater is not toomuch. In this study, we made some experiment about rare earth metallurgy ammoniawastewater treatment, and Deal with ammonia wastewater by Multi-stage stripping devicesand adsorption equipment. At the same time, we hope that the rare earth ammoniawastewater treatment technology can be promoted and used, and to solve the problem ofammonia wastewater environmental pollution in nearly100rare earth plant, and to promotethe sustainable development of the rare earth industry. From the multi-stage stripping of rare earth ammonia wastewater experiment we knowthat under the temperature of35℃, we use multi-stage stripping device can makeammonium concentration5786mg/L ammonia nitrogen wastewater reduced to220mg/L bytwo stripping, which is a blow off ammonia removal efficiency of82.4%, two blowing offammonia The removal efficiency of78.4%, the total removal rate was96.2%, all levels ofstrip achieved the desire result. The dynamic test of adsorption shows that the choice of particle size for the70purpose of zeolite, the tube diameter of16mm Perspex zeolite column height is60cm,waterflow rate control as8cm/min, through two dynamic adsorption treatment, the ammoniaconcentration decreased from220mg/L to under30mg/L, measure up the <EmissionStandards of Pollutants from Rare Earths Industry>(GB26451-2011).
