In this paper, carry on some factory’s conticaster crystallizer shake table tests onthe spot. Use the crystallizer vibration testing device designed in advance to simplify thetest method, and take the appraisal analysis to the crystallizer vibration performance.In crystallizer vibration test on the spot process, due to the restrictions of thefactory environment and construction requirements, the precision often can not meet therequirements and wastes a lot of time,cuts the working efficiency. Design thecrystallizer vibration testing device by using the SolidWorks three dimensional chartingsoftware, simplify the vibration test preliminary work, finish the test work quickly andefficiently. Average savings of1-2hours.When take the appraisal to the crystallizer vibration performance, estimate thecrystallizer’s actual profile peak-to-peak value territory by analysing the changesituation of the wave ridge value, trough value and the effective value at the differentcasting speeds; analyse the change curve of the phase difference between actual profileand standard wave pattern at the different casting speeds, then get the synchronismchange situation between different measuring points in actual movement process. At last,carry on the similarity appraisal to the measured data by using the relevant principle,through the analysis may understand that along with the rise of the casting speedcrystallizer four angles the vibration operational situations. Judge the frequencyparameter that does not suit in the factory production practice. Contrast appraisal thesimilarity appraisal on the same hydraulic cylinder or the different hydraulic cylinder’smeasuring point, distinguish the vibration plane vibration incline direction in eachcasting speeds. Provide the accurate theoretical basis to the factory and raise theconticaster’s production efficiency and the product quality.Using the above displacement test system and the conticaster crystallizer vibrationperformance analysis method, carry on some factory’s cut deal crystallizer and thin steelplate crystallizer tests on the spot. The three tests respectively are: thin steel plate1class crystallizer vibration test; thin steel plate2class crystallizer replace hydrauliccylinder vibration test; cut deal crystallizer vibration test before and after maintenance.These three tests correspond in three kinds of situations in the factory actual productionprocess separately: daily examination; the examination after sudden accident treatment;daily examination contrast test before and after. Draw the conclusion through the test analysis: The thin steel plate1class crystallizer’s movement condition is not steadiest atthe casting speed of3.8m/min. At the casting speed of4.4~4.8m/min which the factoryuses frequently, the thin steel plate1class crystallizer’s running status is good. The thinsteel plate2class crystallizer’s running status is not good at the casting speed of4.0m/min. The worst case scenario appeared at the casting speed of3.0~3.7m/min and5.0m/min, the thin steel plate2class crystallizer will present swinging in the broadsidedirection. After replacing the hydraulic cylinder, the scope of the swing in the broadsidedirection expands, shows that the synchronicity of the new hydraulic cylinder and theother side of the old hydraulic cylinder need further adjustments. Before the overhaul,the cut deal crystallizer has a lot of interference fluctuations in horizontal direction andvertical direction, after the overhaul, its motion characteristics improved, basicallysolved the error problem before the maintenance, achieved the purpose of the overhaul.
