The Research Of The Postmodernism Ecology

Since the modern scientific revolution, the capitalist mode of production that based on the science and technology brought the great social production capacity and material for the society, make the human society rapidly modernized. For the human survival, social modernization has two sides:on the one hand is make people’s lives easy; the other hand is lead to the deterioration for people’s living environment.then further evolved into an increasingly serious ecological crisis. The modern features of the present society arouse human’s deep reflection about the modern society. The western modernism and postmodernism scholars make a lot of reflection on the modern features of the modern society. On the basis of their reflection, this paper make a deep thinking and research about the ecological crisis of the modern society. This study and exploration will enhance people’s ecological awareness and idea, change people’s production and lifestyle, make people pursuit an eco-civilized life. This will make a major theoretical and practical significance for the Chinese to build a harmonious society.This paper use the modernity as a logical starting point of the analysis, use the ecological crisis as the main line to logically expansion. First, defined the concept of the modernity, mainly introduced the definition and connotation of the modernity, analyzed of the ecological crisis and its performance under the perspective of the modernity. Second, introduced the modernist concept of the ecological, mainly analyzed the feasibility and the limitation of the advanced science and technology to solve the ecological crisis. Third, introduced the concept of the postmodernism, analyzed and evaluated the perspectives and theory of the ecology crisis about the radical postmodernism, constructive postmodernism and ecological postmodernism. And compare their similarities and differences with the modernist ecological. And what they beyond the modernist. Last, use the research results that postmodernism analyzed the ecological crisis of modern society to analyzed inspiration and meaning about the postmodernism to the future development of China. And raised a point innovative that make the postmodernism combined with the traditional Chinese culture. Both are contribute to the construction of the China’s ecological civilization.
