In this paper, information fusion technology is introduced in health diagnosis formine hoister. Due to the limitation of single feature information, it is hard to achieve thehealth diagnosis for target system. Aiming at this problem, adopting the multi-sensorinformation fusion in this paper, using multi-sensor monitors the same target fromdifferent perspectives, then it can obtain more comprehensive and reliable informationthan single feature information. Firstly, presenting the fundamental theory ofinformation fusion, methods, connection between information fusion and healthdiagnosis and the general process of health diagnosis, evolving a new structure model ofinformation fusion adopted in the paper. Secondly, because of the disadvantage of theevidence theory after analyzing it then coming up with a new method depended on thecoefficient between two evidences according to those common algorithms. It showsaccuracy and efficiency according to comparing with these different methods. Finally,design the software and hardware about the health diagnosis for mine hoister. Sensingdevice, transducer, data acquisition board are formed the nucleus of the hardware, itachieves the data acquisition, signal analysis, information fusion and health diagnosisbased on the software of graphical programming LabVIEW8.0.This system combing signal processing with information fusion, achieving the earlyprediction for health condition of the mine hoister through analyzed the acquisition data,the improved information fusion method is achieved in the LabVIEW, ultimatelyaccomplishing health diagnosis for mine hoister. Through online health diagnosis it canpromptly diagnose the unusual condition of mine hoister, furthermore it also takes theadvantage of the accuracy, reliability and immediacy from the process and result ofhealth diagnosis, for improving secure and reliable operation of mine hoister it has vitalsignificance to the reality.
