Abstract/Summary:
Linters cellulose was used as material to prepare of superabsorbent resin, adoptingcompound initiator system what’s composed of potassium persul-fate, sodium sulfite, andcerium ammonirm nitrate, importing two acrylic monomers of acroleic acid (AA),acrylamide (AM) for graft copolymerization, and crosslinking mildly by using the N,N-methylene double acrylamide(MBAM). And I made exploration on the compositescomponential, salt tolerance, degradability. In the experiment, I made the study of the influence of the resin’s absorbing fluidperformance under linters’ different preprocessing method. Through a series of uniformexperiment, orthogonal optimization experiment, I discussed the influence of many factorsin synthetic conditions on resin grafting efficiency and absorbing fluid powerful, then wecould come to a conclusion about the best reaction conditions by carrying on a research tothe performance of superabsorbent resin produced under the best conditions. The structure, the shape, the thermal properties of characterization of the resin was characterized byinfrared spectrometer, crystalling phase microscope and scanning electron microscope. Then we could find the results showed that:(1) The effection of the linters pretreated by the methods of acid cooking and alkalicooking degradation was that: the effect of acid cooking processing was better, according tothe ability of the superabsorbent resin on absorbing fluid properties, and nitric acid couldremove more of the hydrogen bonding interaction while its consistency was1mol/L under100centigradefor30minutes, more activity hydroxyl could be freed out, increasing thepenetration ability of derivatives reagents. And eventually cellulose macromolecularchemistry environment could be improved, making the reaction of cellulose fiber activitybetter.(2) The two pretreatment had different affects on the rate of resin’s absorbing water, the bibulous rate was directly related to the degree of cellulose activation after pretreatment. The experiments turned out that acid cooking and alkali cooking degradation made diferentinfluences on the absorption rate of the resin, and explored the best degradation time, which was30mins and45mins respectively. The respective resin bibulous rates were351timesand285times.The rates of absorbing sodium chloride solution of0.9%were88times and67times respectively.(3)The prefabrication methods of SAP were below. The mass ratio of monomer andwheat straw was9, crosslinker of Methylene diacrylamide was0.50wt%of monomer, neutralization degree of acrylic acid was75%, initiator of potassium persul-fate was0.80wt%of monomer, the reaction time was4h at45℃, the monomer consistency was1.6mol/L, m(AA): m(AM)=1:1, m(CAN):m(KSB)=1:5, the disperse time of initiator was15min, and the products should be dried at50℃.(4) After the performance test and characterization, the resin prepared in the bestcondition has reasonable three dimensional network structure, and it has very many poresand islands structure on the morphology. The SAP prepared in the best condition wastransparent, bibulous rate reached up to561times, and reached to128.3times in the0.9%NaCl aqueous solution.(5) At the same concentration, from high to low of the affect on the resin absorptionrate in the different electrolyte solution was: sodium chloride, calcium chloride, aluminiumchloride. In the environment that pH was during5and10, resin bibulous rate was ideal, andacid environment was more sensitive than alkali environment.Bibulous rate was fast in thefirst30minutes, reaching almost saturated water quantity in30minutes. The waterretentivity was more ideal in the room temperature and50℃conditions, and the Inhibitoryeffect of steam was obvious. Repeat utilization of the resin was good,7times after use, therecovery rate of resin’s absorbing fluid reached to89%, and the bibulous rate was205times.Gel strength was moderate, which was not easy to smash. Storage was stability, angthe dry resin powder was not easy to mildew. Acrylic yield in the SAP was only0.025%, inline with the safety of agricultural requirements.
