In NC cutting-stock business, enterprise profits and production efficiency are restrainedby material and equipment utilization. To manage and control productive resources andinformation validly and improve material and equipment utilization effectively, this paperputs forward a kind of optimal NC cutting-stock system with production procedure analysiswhose effectiveness is enhanced according to the research of optimal nest with variable sizeand cost sheets and optimal schedule with different cutting programs.For system overall design, logical relationship and interactive relationship withincutting-stock information are analyzed according to cutting-stock business process. And thensystem functional structure is designed and divided into several modules. NC cutting controlmethods are discussed at last.For NC cutting with variable size and cost sheets,an optimization method based ongenetic algorithm and simulated annealing is proposed. With optimal sheets and partssequence, sheets’ optimal use is achieved and sheets’ costs, utilization and used num arebalanced. And to get higher sheets’utilization, parts nested on variable sheets are adjusted ina way of simulated annealing.For materials’ optimal cutting schedule on different cutting equipments, a method referto parallel machine scheduling problems is researched, who uses earliest release time toarrange the schedule with GA.Last, based on theoretical analysis results and optimization models, optimal NCcutting-stock system is designed and developed, and verified with relative application.
