China is the most coal production and the most high temperature damage minesin the world. Along with the increase of mining depth, ground temperature increasegradually. According to china coalfield geothermal observation data statistics,geothermal gradient is2~4℃/100m generally. High temperature environmentresults in low work efficiency, workers’ health harm, the life decrease of machineelectricity equipments and serious security risks. In order to guarantee the smoothmining of coal resources, it is necessary to develop perfect equipments and maturecooling technologies. The study of cooling technologies is an important and urgenttask.However, coal mine ice cooling system is in the test application stage in china,and its management and control is complex. China’s mature application of mine icecooling system, still need a lot of work.This paper gets the following conclusions with experiment and numericalsimulation.(1)The experiment results.①This paper gets the formulas of transfer heat coefficient and convective heattransfer coefficient of ice and water in natural convection and compulsive convectionconditions.②When a piece of slice ice melts in different quality static water, and slice icethickness is0.003~0.004m, the temperature of the water is17℃, the temperature ofthe ice is-7℃, this paper gets the function between melting ice time and quality ratioof ice and water.③When certain quality slice ice melts in different quality static water,case1: slice ice thickness is0.007~0.008m, the temperature of the water is25℃,the temperature of the ice is-7℃, this paper gets the function between melting icetime and quality ratio of ice and water.case2: slice ice thickness is0.007~0.008m, the temperature of the water is17℃, the temperature of the ice is-7℃, this paper gets the function between melting icetime and quality ratio of ice and water.case3: slice ice thickness is0.003~0.004m, the temperature of the water is25℃,the temperature of the ice is-7℃, this paper gets the function between melting icetime and quality ratio of ice and water.case4: slice ice thickness is0.003~0.004m, the temperature of the water is17℃,the temperature of the ice is-7℃, this paper gets the function between melting icetime and quality ratio of ice and water.④When ice cake melts in running water, and ice thickness is0.8~1m, waterflow speed is under2m/s, in order to keep exit water temperature0~1℃, the bestratio of water and ice quality is between5~6.(2) This paper establishes the mathematics model of slice ice melting in staticwater, which is the function relation of melting ice time, ratio of ice and water quality,slice ice thickness. What’s more, the paper shows the function relation with Clanguage.(3) This paper establishes the mathematics models of slice ice melting in runningwater, in which the system water temperature is17℃,ice temperature is0℃. Themathematics models are the function relation of exit temperature, ice thickness andwater flow speed, and the function relation of ice thickness, water flow speed andratio of ice and water quality. The paper shows the function relation with C language,and gets the following result: when ice thickness is0.8~1m, water flow speed isunder2m/s, in order to keep exit water temperature0~1℃, the best ratio of waterand ice quality is between5~6.(4) The experimental results and numerical simulation results are basically thesame.
