| With the development of the technologies, C/C composite materials are applied inmany fields,including aerospace, nuclear energy reactors, and military industries. C/Ccomposite materials have excellent properties such as low density,high temperatureresistance,high abrasion and erosion resistance,and good conductivity, etc. However,non-destructive testing of internal defects is crucial for application in special field.The main purpose is validate the feasibility of using regular inspection and testingmethod for C/C composite material defect inspection and testing, so that the methodsand optimized parameters can be used for quality control in our research institute.The main contents include review of the existing main detection methods in C/Ccomposites and their application in the quality evaluation, analysis of the characteristicsand applicability of different techniques of nondestructive testing (NDT) used forcomposites, comparison of their merits and drawbacks. Through a large number ofexperimental studies, the radiographic testing parameters on C/C composites affectingdetection results were obtained to radically improve the C/C composite materials testingquality. Experimental data were obtained for future application of C/C compositematerials in products of our research institutes. |
