There are widely research interest on ZnO due to its potential application on photoelectricity device. Recently, as the study of nanomaterials developed, the research of ZnO related low dimension alloy nanomarterials became more popular, because low dimension can provide better conductivity performance and excellence crystal structure, and the alloying process can regulate and control wavelength of the photoelectric device which made up of these nanomaterials by control the doping amounts, so the applied arrange of the ZnO related nanomaterials will become more extentively.In this paper, we use chemical vapor deposition method to fabricated the ZnO nanowire on Si substrate which prepared ZnO film as seed crystal by atom layer deposition method, the growth mechanism is described as vapor-liquid-solid and vapor-solid mechanism. The growth mechanism and mechanism of nucleation was discussed. After that, the Mg-ZnO and Ge-ZnO alloy nanowire was fabricated, the Mg powder and GeO2powder was used as source. we characterized samples’feature, crystalline quality, and optical property using SEM, XRD, EDS, PL and XPS methods, and analyzed the influence of growth conditions in these experiments. The different change of energy band structure in different alloying nanomaterials was discussed.
