Eight dithiodioropionamide derivatives with asymmetrical structure have beensynthesized from dimethyl dithiopropionate and named afterN-noctyl-N’-butoxypropl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide (OLBPD),N-noctyl-N’-methoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide (OLMPD),N-noctyl-N’-ethoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide (OLEPD),N-noctyl-N’-isopropoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide (OLIPD),N-butoxypropyl-N’-methoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide (BMPD), N-butoxypropyl-N’-ethoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide(BEPD),N-isopropoxypropyl-N’-methoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipropionamide(IMPD),N-nbutyl-N’-butoxypropyl asymmetrical dithiodipro pionamide(OBBPD).Four dithiodipropionamide derivatives with symmetrical structure named afterN,N’-dimethyl dithiodipropionamide(MP), N,N’-diethyl dithiodipropionamide (EP),N,N’-dinpropyl dithiodipropionamide(OPP), N,N’-dibutyl dithiodipropionamide(OBP)have been synthesized for the first time from methyl acrylate in the aqueousphase.All the twelve compounds were tested by infrared spectrometer and HNMRspectrometer. Result showed their structural formulas are in conformity withanticipation. The suitable synthesis conditions of all products and separation methodsof the asymmetrical ones have been studied respectively.The antibacterial properties of several products on Escherichia Coli andStaphylococcus aureus were tested. The bioassay results showed that all thecompounds in the test possessed good antibacterial activities, with MIC value toEscherichia Coli and Staphylococcus aureus reached0.125~0.25mg/mL.Dithiodipropionamide with asymmetrical structure remains better antibacterialactivity and inhibition property of the two perssads corresponded symmetricaldithiodipropionamides.
