Huainan coal mine is the Anhui province largest coal energy base, but also has a great number of associated coal gangue each year.As used for subgrade filling materials can be an important way of utilization.As coal gangue is a new-type subgrade materials, in order to promote the use in large-scale in the future,it is needed to know the basic chemical and physical properties, and study the applicability of road performance in system to meet the rapid use as a new type of highway subgrade filling materials.In order to know the basic characteristics, mechanical properties and field road performance of raw coal gangue, several indoor tests was done with the latest Test Methods of Subgrade for Highway Engineering on Benghuai Highway solid project. Several field tests also had been done to find out the approximate way of subgrade implementation work.Though the field bearing plate and deflection test it could not only examine the quality of subgrade work.but also do research on the relationship between the value of modulus of resilience and the value of deflection.come out a simple formula which would enhances the convenience of Quality Control on subgrade work.And some research had been made on construction technology of coal gangue subgrade.on the methods of afterby Quality Control and Construction inspection.As it has be proved that:coal gangue shows qualified properties on road performance.There is a lot of valuable experimental data on coal gangue for the improving use of coal gangue in the future.
