Glass-ceramic is a new type of inorganic nonmetallic material, its excellent optical-electric, magnetic properties has been widely used in various fields of production and daily life.Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2(NAS) system glass-ceramic is prepared by molten crystallization method. According to DSC result. The optimum heat treatment schedules is insulation1.5hour at545℃. The properties of the samples is determined by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis, scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis, light transmittance analysis and so on. The results show that the main crystal phase of the samples is NaAlSiO4. The grains are distributed evenly in the system, and the grain size is between40-200nm. The light transmittance of the samples is indicated that the maximum value is up to83%.Er3+-Yb3+co-doped Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2system glass-ceramic is prepared by adding Er3+and Yb3+. The optical properties of Er3+-Yb3+co-doped Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2system glass-ceramic is studied by fluorescence spectroscopy. The results reveal that the strongest fluorescent emission peak of Er3+-Yb3+co-doped Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2system glass-ceramic is at1539nm, and Yb3+is widely enhanced the intensity of Er3+in Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2system glass-ceramic.
