As one important processes of material machining, heat treatment is the most important processing method to improve the performance of steel. The heat treatment process make a crucial influence on getting a reasonable stress distribution and reducing deformation to enhance the quality of thin-walled parts, especially for the thin-walled parts with poor rigidity and poor precision.Based on the reason that the optical lens barrel of the aerospace camera have distortion during heat treatment, the process parameters of quenching and tempering by uniform design method are optimized. The distribution regularities of stress field, and temperature field during the heat treatment process, and overall deformation regularities of the parts are found by using Deform-3D to simulate the quenching process and tempering process of thin-walled parts. The test for parts of the deformation and residual stress are compared and the relational expression of residual stress and heat treatment parameters are found by using the regression analysis.
