In this dissertation, six kinds of tetrahydroxyphthalocyaninato metals were synthesized by liquid phase method, which center metal was cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, indium and lead, respectively. Chloro-indium phthalocyanine initiator could get from terahydroxyphthalocyanine. Methyl methacrylate as monomer, Chloro-indium phthalocyanine as initiator, then the four-arm star-style poly(methyl methacrylate), which had a chloro-indium phthalocyanine core, was successfully synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The structures of the synthesized etrahydroxyphthalocyaninato metals and the prepared polymer were characterized by infrared (IR) spectrum, mass spectrometry and’HNMR techniques.The electronic absorption spectroscopies of target products were studied by the ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectrum technique. It was shown that the absorption peaks of tetrahydroxyphthalocyanine metals in Q-band were observed red shift as increasing the atom numbers of the center metal. The absorption peaks of tetrahydroxyphthalocyanine chlora-indium (â…¢), chloro-indium phthalocyanine initiator and the four-arm star polymer were observed blue shift in Q-band.Molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of four-arm star-style polymer were determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). It was shown that the polymerization process followed the characteristic of the first-order reaction dynamics, polymerization reaction had a good controllability, and the molecular weights distribution range was between1.16and1.27, shows narrow molecular weight distribution.Used EkspLa dye clamping PS Nd:YAG pulse laser system, third-order optical nonlinear properties of tetrahydroxyphthalocyaninato chlora-indium (â…¢) and the four-arm star-style poly(methyl methacrylate) were studied by Z-scan measurements at wavelength of532nm with21ps pulses. By simulation and calculation of the experimental data, Rvalue of tetrahydroxyphthalocyaninato chlora-indium (â…¢) and the four-arm star-style poly(methyl methacrylate) is3.3×10-12m/Wå'Œ4.3×10-12m/W, respectively.
