Poly(3-methyoxythiophene)(PMOT) and poly(3-bromothiophene)(PBrT) were pre-paretd by cyclic voltammetry in two room temperature ionic liquids1-butyl-3-methyl-limidazolium tetrafluoroborate and1-butyl-3-methyllimidazolium hexafluorophosphate, respectively.The surface morphology and structure of the polythiophene derivatives were characterized by SEM and FT-IR.Electrochromic properties and spectrochemistry of the polymers were characterized in pure ionic liquids using cyclic voltammetry,UV spectrum under potential and square wave potential sweep method.The results showed that the colour of the PMOT and PBrT flims changed between blue and red during the CV process.The peak currents rised linearly with the square root of the scan rate for PMOT and PBrT flims indicated the redox processes were manly diffusion control.The maximum optical contrast%△T and switching time were found to be33.1%and2.4s for PMOT,16.4%and8.9s for PBrT.The flims of Mo doped tungsten oxide and Co3o4-NiO inorganic metal-mixed oxides were prepared by potentiostatic,which were electro-deposited for one step and two steps respectively.And the surface morphology and forms of the flims of metal-mixed oxides flims were measured by SEM,EDS and XPS. Electrochromic properties and spectrochemistry of the inoriganic metal-mixed oxides were characterized using cyclic voltammetry, UV spectrum under potential and square wave potential sweep method.By the kinetic studies, the maximum optical contrast%△T of the flims,which deposited by the elecreolyte of molybdenum tungsten ratio of0.07,0.21,0.35,were found to be28.2%,4.6%,4.9%,and the switching time were5.7s,7.7s,8.1s,respectively. The Co3O4flims deposited on the surface of NiO and ITO showed the different electrochemistry behaviors.The maximum optical contrast%△T and switching time were found to be33.1%and2.4s for Co3O4-NiO(300s),16.4%and8.9s for Co3O4-NiO(600s).
