Oil pumping with sucker rod is a kind of artificial lift methods always plays absolute leading role in the mechanical oil production methods at home and abroad. Generally, the efficiency of rod pumping system of directional well in low permeable oil field is lower, because of low permeability and liquid production, hole deviation angle and azimuthal angle of directional well track. How to increase system efficiency is the key point of this thesis. On the basis of analytical research for mathematical model of each part efficiency of rod pumping system, efficiency analytical model which is suitable for directional well of low permeable oil field was provided; optimal design of rod pumping system for efficiency improvement and the influence of centralizers distribution in directional well for system efficiency were researched; optimal design model with the most system efficiency as the objective function of rod pumping system of directional well in the low permeable oilfield was obtained. Moreover, based on the practical production status of Yanchang oilfield, efficiency analysis and optimization software of rod pumping system for directional well of low permeability oilfield was programmed; aimed at the directional well of Tang114well area, Ganguyi Oil Production Plant of Yanchang oilfield, optimization design, parameters tuning on the spot, experimental data acquisition and contrastive analysis were proceeded. Application shows that the rod pumping system efficiency had been increased4.8%than before, and the average energy saving rate reached44.5%. Power saving effect is very obvious, it could be popularized for directional well of low permeable oilfield.
