Lignocellulose is a kind of renewable resources, and its structure is complex, after long-term experiments and production practice, it was discovered that the useof two or more microbial mixed culture can get this kind of material betterdegradation effect. Mixed culture of microorganisms has been widely used for thelignocellulose degradation. The results of co-culture are largely influenced by theinteractions of different lignocellulolytic microorganisms. Such interrelationships inthe current study are depicted mainly based on plate co-culture assay. There are twotypes of plate has been used, namely basic medium plate and improved medium plate, the former mainly studied from the colony morphology, mycelia color, exocellularvolatile organic compounds and exocellular enzyme activity, the latter which thecarbon sourses are natural lignocelloses mainly were used for comparative study. This article use straws as the carbon sourse to investigate the interactions ofPhanerochaete Chrysosporium and screening strains which we screening in thefermented straw.Whetheer fermentation in the mean time or successively all showthat the mixed strains whith mutual intermingling or partial mutual interminglingcan coexist, they can tolerate the mycelium and exocellular secretion of each other, these strains are compatible. We detected the enzyme activity of each plate, foundthat Lip enzyme and Mnp enzyme of intersetion region are obviously higher thanother portions;we also found that fermentation successively have higher enzymeactivity than fermentation at the same time. The sampling analysis show thatco-culture compared with pure cultivation and straw raw, the total amount oflignocellulose are obviously decreased. This degradation ability of co-culture havecertain connection whith MnP or LiP activity, but not absolute, inevitable connection. The connection between the enzyme activity, the degradation of the lignocelluloseand the result of the interaction of mixed culture remains further research.
