Food safety has always been concerned as an important socialissues, the detection of food additives, pathogens, heavy metals has become the main content of the food safety testing. The detection ofmelamine in dairy products has also been a focus of attention. Thereare two methods for the detection of melamine residues in dairyproducts in this topic.1.Gold nanoparticles colorimetric method for rapid detection ofmelamine.In experiments, the use of gold nanoparticles colorimetric methodfor rapid detection of melamine, when add the melamine drops in goldnanoparticles, the color changes from wine red to blue. The sensitivity is0.5ppm for the visual detection in the melamine qualitative detection.,There is a good linear range of0.5~10ppm for the spectrophotometricmethod for quantitative detection of melamine. This method is simple,rapid and applicable to rapid screening tests for melamine.2.Colloidal gold immunochromatography method for rapiddetection of melamineWe developed the qualitative and quantitative test strips ofmelamine colloidal gold immunochromatographic. The sensitivity of themelamine colloidal gold immunochromatographic qualitativedetection test strip is0.5ppm,and the range of the quantitativedetection test strip of melamine colloidal gold is0.25~6ppm. Therepeatability and stability is very good, and the shelf life is2years. It canbe used for site monitoring and screening of a large number of samplesof dairy products. There is an important practical significance.In summary, the successful use of gold nanoparticles colorimetricmethod with the dairy products of melamine colloidal goldimmunochromatography assay melamine. The use of gold nanoparticles colorimetric detection of melamine by the color changesto its qualitative, investigated the concentration of melamine and theabsorbance of UV-Vis spectrophotometer, so as to achieve the purposeof melamine quantitative. We use the the immunochromatographiccompetition Preparation of melamine colloidal goldimmunochromatography qualitative dipstick and quantitative teststrips.To achieve qualitative and quantitative detection of melamine indairy products. The method of sample preparation is simple andconvenient, its simple, fast, can be used for the screening of largenumbers of samples.
