Dingcheng each villages and towns in Dingcheng of Changde city located in the west of dongting lake,, which has fertile soil and a prosperous economy, however, in recent years, with the frequent human production and construction activities, the construction land is growing rapidly, the ecological structure is becoming imbalanced, ecological function is reducing. For these, it resulted in soil erosion and degradation, more and more vegetation degradation, and the land ecosystem health is in great threatening.Through consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literature of land use ecological health, combined with the change of land use structure and quantity of36towns of Dingcheng District in2005,2010and2020, based on the land use dynamic model and land utilization degree model, this paper has carried out the dynamic analysis and degree calculating on land utilization of each villages and towns in Dingcheng District.The results show that agricultural land still takes great majority in Dingcheng District, the distribution of cultivated land, garden land concentrated but the total is decreasing, the rapidly growth of construction land and gradually formed the scale, at the same time, the amount of rural residential land reduced by a certain degree, but the amount of per capita residential land is still in great, the probability of the unexploited land development is small, and the land utilization rate and reclamation rate is high. The comprehensive index of land utilization in each villages and towns is large, in which26villages and towns have unusual land utilization change rate that is greater than0. All above, the results show that the land utilization of Dingcheng District is in rapid development period, especially in Wuling town, Guanxi town, Shibantan town, the rapidest is Doumuhu town.At the same time, combining with practical situation,this paper puts forward a evaluation of the ecological health of land use of36towns in DingCheng District in2005,2010and2020by setting up a ecological health of land use frame model of structure-elastic value-reflect and nineteen evaluation indexes, adopting analytic hierarchy process to evaluate indexes weights. The evaluation results is classified into5levels:optimal healthy, relative healthy,general health, not very healthy and not healthy. The results show land use of all the towns in DingCheng District is not in optimal healthy state in2005,2010and2020. Huayanxi national forest park, land use in Qianjiaping,Nijiangping,Cangshan is in relative healthy state. The comprehensive evaluation value of the ecological health of land use in Doumuhu and Zhendeqiao is only0.2330and0.2488respectively in2005. The comprehensive evaluation value of Doumuhu town is only0.2451in2010, still in not very healthy state. In2020, the ecological health of the whole region is in relatively healthy or general healthy or not healthy state, in which Doumuhu and Zhendeqiao take the bottom position in terms of comprehensive healthy score, respectively0.2835and0.2751. According to the evaluation results, combined with the actual situation of each villages and towns in Dingcheng District, this paper puts forward3patterns of land utilization and ecological protection measures.
