In recent years, polymer surfactant as a new type of flooding agent has been carriedout a pilot test in Daqing oilfield. As the time of its occurrence is short, the studies aboutthe properties and the flooding effect are few. Some problems encountered in pilot test arehard to explain and solve with current theory. For the actual need in the pilot, the authorstudied a lot about its properties for molecular structure, emulsification, wettability andvisoelasticity. The results show that polymer surfactant possesses both the high-viscositycharacteristics of polymer and the interfacial activity of surfactant; the type of polymersurfactant and storage time effect on molecular dimension Dh, with the passage of time,Dh increases first and then decreases; polymer surfactant has strong emulsifying capacityfor its molecular containing multiple functional groups, which can improve visoelasticitysubstantially through forming supramolecular structure; wettability changing effects arestudied by dynamic contact angle measurement instrument, laboratory experiments showthat polymer surfactant can decrease wetting angle of cores and Type Ⅲ has betterwettability changing ability than Type Ⅰ; displacement experiments confirm that polymersurfactant driving can enhance oil recovery after water driving, while Type Ⅰ is better thanType Ⅲ and Haibo polymer surfactant is better than Refining in enhancing chemicalflooding recovery, which show that polymer surfactant solution has the effect to increaseoil and enhance oil recovery.
