With the development of oil exploration technology and continuous improvement, somespecial reservoirs have been caused more and more attention of petroleum workers. As theheavy oil accounts for a large proportion in the oil resources, how to recovery of heavy oiland make it available reserves is the problem that oil industry has been exploring.From1987up to now, block Qi40in Liaohe oil field has been exploited by steam soak,which made abetter development effect. But the present reservoir status is difficult to meet the productiondemand, and the potential is small if keep produceding by steam huff and puff. In order to digthe remaining oil between wells, conversion of oil development is imperative. Steam floodingis an effective replaceable exploration method after steam huff and puff, and it can greatlyimprove the recoverable reserves of heavy oil reservoir in Liaohe oilfield, which is greatsignificance for oilfield to keep the stable production and sustained and stable development.The geological characteristics and oil displacement mechanism of block Qi40areexplored in the article. Steam flooding technology parameter and aided process optimizationare studied deeply. The steam flooding dryness distribution and measurement technology andthe steam flooding lifting technology in high temperature system are researched. Other aidedprocesses are researched, like crude oil dehydration and sewage treatment technology ofheavy oil and super heavy oil. At the same time, the field application is carried out. The sesultproves that, steam flooding dryness distribution and measurement techniques system, etc. theaided process technology meet the technical needs of steam flooding,which laid thefoundation for heavy oil recovery technology to further develop.
