Most of the crude oil produced in China is "three high" one:high wax content, high pour point and high viscosity. The safe and economical transportation of this kind of crude oil has long been a focus for the study of Chinese petroleum researchers. The wax deposition is also a global petroleum industry obstacle, which exists in the whole process of oil production and transportation and seriously hampers the economic running and development ofpetroleum industry, so it is very important to master the law of wax deposition so as to solve the problem. In this thesis, aimed at the transformation requirement of an oil transportation system, the data are pretreated firstly, then some work is done, the main content can be listed as follows1) The influencing factors of the wax deposition are analyzed. The emphasis is placed on the impact of the change of viscosity and radial temperature grades which are caused by oil transport temperature on the wax deposit thickness calculated by differential pressure method, the important parameters which affect the estimation accuracy of wax deposit thickness are obtained and the practical application of differential pressure method is simplified.2) Base on the wax deposition data, the wax deposition law of3crude oils in spots are summarize and the model of wax deposition is set up. With the application of the principle of ANN,a wax deposition velocity model for multiple crude oil was set up. The practical uses of the model to estimate the mixed crude oil’s wax deposit velocity of a petroleum jetty reflect its effectiveness.3) The running efficiencies of different pumps’combination are analyzed. Aimed at minimizing the power consumption, the optimal oil transporting program is developed for high oil temperature. Based on the actual running state, different optimal scheduling plans are achieved so as to provide a support for the economic operation of the whole system.A significant portion of the work in this thesis has been successfully applied to an oil transportation port and the system is running smoothly. The application in spots indicates that the proposed method has good reliability and economy, and the work of this thesis supplies a powerful support for the safe and economical running of random mixed crude oil transportation system.
