The water quality is going to depravation in china, the pollution levels of more than one half of the biggest seven watersheds are worse than the medium water quality level. And the contribution amount of the diffuse pollution is large, but the simulation of the process of the source and transport of it is very difficult. Especially the monitoring data in our country is scarce and secret, also because of the adaptability of the foreign water quality simulation model, due to the quantitative study insufficiency. As is the worst water quality level of the biggest seven watersheds in china, the HaiRiver watershed needs quantitative study as the groundwork of the water manage quickly, and the LuanRiver watershed of it is lack of human reconstruction and control, is suited to SPARROW. SPARROW (SPAtially Referenced Regressions On Watershed attributes) is a watershed modeling technique for relating water-quality measurements made at a network of monitoring stations to attributes of the watersheds containing the stations. The core of the model consists of a nonlinear regression equation describing the non-conservative transport of contaminants from point and diffuse sources on land to rivers and through the stream and river network. The model predicts contaminant flux, concentration, and yield in streams and has been used to evaluate alternative hypotheses about the important contaminant sources and watershed properties that control transport over large spatial scales. After reading some literatures about the SPARROW, we collect the input data (e.g., atmospheric deposition, fertilizers, human and animal wastes), then use some software tools (e.g., ARCGIS、ARCS WAT、EXCEL_VBA) to treating them to the standard input data in SAS, run and adjust the model repeatedly. We get the output that the space distribution of TN concentration and yield and percent of the polluting of the fertilizer compared with the result of Export coefficient modeling approach to do the foundation of the LuanRiver watershed waste water mend. We also invent a large scale method to confront the lack of data and make a simple checking. And then, we use the Export coefficient modeling to know the space distribution of TN load and also make a scenario analysis.
