In this paper, the oil phase which is replaced with ionic liquid1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumhexafluorophosphate, Non-ion surfactant Np-10, and phosphate solution were mixed to form thethree-phase microemulsion. The ternary diagram was also made using surfactants, ionic liquid and saltsolution as the three components in which the salt were sodium dihydrogen phosphate and disodiumphosphate, and mass ratio between surface active agent and ionic liquid was1. If changing the mass ratiobetween surfactant and ionic liquid, increasing the content of ionic liquid, the area of three-phasemicroemulsion in the ternary diagram will decrease. However, with increasing the content of surfactant, the interphase of the triphase will become vague. When mixing disodium hydrogen phosphate andsalt-sodium dihydrogen phosphate solution which is instead of the solution of sodium dihydrogenphosphate, a noticeable change will also happen with the three-phase microemulsion region. With thegrowing of the content of sodium hydrogen phosphate, the area of three-phase microemulsion will increaseand then decrease. This paper has also studied about microemulsion matrix, the accelerated aging test andcentrifugal test proved that the microemulsion matrix has better stability. Cosurfactant added intomicroemulsion can reduce the interfacial tension, increase the flexibility of the interface, make the interfaceeasy to bend, and can lead the microemulsion formed spontaneously. The general cosurfactant is alcohol, amine and organic acid, etc. In this study, the surfactant Np-10mixed with n-propanol which acts asco-surfactant and1-butyl-3-methyl imidazole phosphate, as the oil phase, and then was added distilledwater at25℃for preparation of microemulsion. To investigate the influence of the ratio of cosurfactantand surfactant on the formation of the microemulsion, the ternary diagram was prepared with the mixedsolution of Np-10and n-propanol, ionic liquid and water as the three component. It can be observed thatwhen the mass ratio between the Np-10and n-propanol was1, the area of microemulsion was largestcompred with other ratio. This experiment also studied the liquid crystal which was formed by surfactant and ionic liquid andsynthesize ZnS nanometer materials with liquid crystal for template. When the concentration of surfactantsin water was lager than the CMC, the free energy of the system can reduce owing to the associating of molecules with each other through the van der Waals force and static electricity, and then micella willfurther associate to form liquid crystal. The liquid crystal is divided into thermotropic and lyotropic liquidcrystals and thermotropic liquid crystals is caused by changes in temperature. While the lypotropic liquidcrystals which is caused by the change of the concentration is made up of compounds and solvent. Themost common kind of lypotropic liquid crystals is made up of surfactant and water, but it could also appearlypotropic liquid crystals in the nonaqueous solution. This paper focuses on the formation of liquid crystalwhich is formed with non-ionic surfactants in three different, and the ionic liquids which were synthesizedin our laboratory were ethyl ethanol amine nitrate, nitric acid propyl alcohols, isopropyl alcohol aminenitrate. We used polarized light microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, FTIR spectroscopy,small-angle x-ray diffraction to characterize the structure of liquid crystals, and studied the influence ofconcentrations of surfactant in the three ions liquid and temperature on the formation of liquid crystal. Withthe liquid crystal as templates, ZnS which was proved by XRD was generated with zinc nitratezinc andthioacetamide. It can be observed that the sizes of particles synthesized with different liquid crystaltemplate varied greatly from the photograph of TEM. In sum, the ionic liquid has good applicationsprospects in microemulsion and liquid crystal considerably.
