High-speed NC machine(CNC) is a modern machineery manufacturingtechnology and development direction of the tower,its performance depends on thethermal stability performance of spindle,so the thermal stability of the NC machineperformance of mechanical processing system,and the processing precision stableperformance play a key role.And the numerical control machine tool has the above advantages dependdingon one of the key technologies used in the key function components——high-speedelectric spindle. In High-speed electric spindle,it use the motor technology, thefusion high-speed bearing technology, oil and water cooling lubrication technology,etc. there has some advantages about high-speed electric spindle.fistly,reducing thegear drive directly in the middle of the transmission links, so avoid the transmissionchain noise and vibration, and then improve the precision of the main shaftcomprehensive;secondly High speed motor and the mechanical structure is relativelysimple; lastly,In the selection of motor, three-phase ac frequency conversion andPLC control technology have been using so tha the spindle speed range is wide andthe dynamic characteristics is change better.This paper first introduced the high-speed electric spindle basic work principleand structure, and then anasyling the high-speed electric spindle each placethermosteresis and counting the temperature rise, basing on the finite element modelof the high-speed electric spindle, and using large finite element analysis softwareANSYS analysis before and after cooling of the temperature field distribution,design electric spindle stator joint cooling system, in order to reduce the temperaturerise of electric spindle and increase its thermal stability, Improve the machiningprecision of the machine tool.1) on motor learning analysis theory as a foundation, analyzed the statorthermal conversion mechanism as well as the bearing of the friction heat of theinfluence of the dynamic characteristics of the motor, and derived the motor statorheat conduction equations, and calculated the temperature rise of them.2) by heat transfer theory calculation of the friction heat bearing, a formula ofthe spindle unit heat impedance, established the thermal transfer model andequations.3) using high-speed electric spindle of thermal analysis software ANSYS heatconduction and basic principle, and the formula for high-speed electric spindle out of hot impedance, and set up electric spindle unit heat transfer model and theequation.4) according to the electric spindle temperature field of the finite elementcalculation and analysis, established the electric spindle finite element model oftemperature field, calculates and analyzes a high-speed electric spindle each part ofthe steady-state temperature rise and distribution.5) through to the electric spindle temperature field of ANSYS finite elementanalysis, find out the heat source distribution (mainly is the stator and bearing of thefriction and heat), and then puts forward a set of new type of stator joint coolingsystem to solve the interior of the electric spindle heat.
