In recent years, the transition metal coordination polymers have captured more and more intensive attention not only because of their versatile structural motifs and topologies, but also due to their potential applications in gas storage, separation, catalysis, optics magnetism materials and so on. Therefore, it is of great importance for the development of coordination chemistry to explore the assembly of functional organic ligands with transition metal ion and to investigate the relationship between the structure and property.In this paper, ten new compounds, with formula (1)[Cd(3-PyBIm)(BDC)(H2O)]n,(2)[Co(3-PyBIm)2(BDC)(H2O)]n,(3)[Cd(4-PyBIm)2(HBDC)(BDC)0.5]n,(4){[Cd(4-PyHBI m)2(btc)(H2btc)]·2H2O}n,(5)[Ag(4-PyBIm)(H2btc)]n,(6){[Cd(3-PyBIm)2(chdc)(H2O)]·4H2O}n,(7){[Cd3(4-PyBIm)2(chdc)3(H2O)2]}n,(8)[Co(4-H2PyIMdc)2(H2O)2],(9)[Ag2(4-HPyI Mdc)]n,(10)[Zn(H2MeIMDC)2(H2O)2], have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, TG, solid-state emission spectra, single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and X-ray powder diffraction analysis. Both of compound1and2exhibit a three-dimensional structure via hydrogen bonds. While compound3and6feature a two-dimensional structure via hydrogen bonds. The central metal Cd in compound4adopts a seven-coordinating mode and ultimately form a3D supramolecular structure via hydrogen bonds. Compound5is a ID chain coordination polymer. Compound7is a coordination polymer with2D layer structure. Compound8and10have a0D structure, but the0D independent unit of compound10finally form3D supramolecular structure via hydrogen bonds. Compound9is a3D coordination polymer.Compound1,2,3,4,6and7are stable below240℃、210℃、280℃、350℃、300℃、and300℃, respectively. Solid state luminescent spectroscopies of compound1,3,4,6,7,9and10exhibit an emission peak at446nm、472nm、465nm、402nm、420nm、380nm and388nm, respectively. The X-Ray powder diffraction shows the simulated peak higher match with the experimental, indicating these compounds are of high purity and high quality. The transition coordination polymers have good thermal stability and fluorescence properties in the materials of thermal stability and good luminescent have potential applications.
