Research On The Logistics Industry Cluster Development Based On The Life Cycle Theory

As one of the ways of effective organization of logistics activities within the region, promoting the coordinated development of regional economy, the logistics industry cluster attracts more and more attention.However, its life cycle is short, difficult to maintain sustainable development.Therefore, how to grasp characteristics of the life cycle stage, to identify the stage of development, to extend the life cycle, to make it self-redemption and renewed vitality of the "youth", has theoretical and practical significance. The paper is organized as follows: firstly, Proceed from the connotation of the logistics industry cluster analyzes internal factors about its life cycle, which contains "centripetal force" and "centrifugal force", and its life cycle’s evolution by this role. Then, focuses on the characteristics of indicators which are corresponding to regional clusters of natural conditions, the economic level of regional clusters, the cluster infrastructure level, corporate concentration and level development within the cluster, cluster culture.On this basis, selecting the number of firms, number of employees, taxes for the typical indicators, to analyze the various stages of operating characteristics. Thirdly, making Logistic model of one-dimensional indicators which can model and predict cluster’s status. According to them, Putting forward logistics industry cluster’s development strategy from government departments, enterprises, institutions.Finally, taking the steel logistics industry cluster of Datuo town in Changsha for example, selecting the number of enterprises to establish Logistic model, calculating by Matlab and SAS software.From the above study, we can draw the conclusion that Datuo steel logistics industry cluster is in the growth stage. At the same time, promoting healthy and sustainable development proposal for this stage.
