The safety work situations of underground metal and nonmetal mines are serious.Different safety work conditions, work features frequently updated safety laws and safety technology standard of mines,which lead to uneven level safety administration of metal and nonmetal mines and a large disparity among safety technology of metal and nonmetal mine safety technicians. Therefore,the ways of administration of mines safety improve metal and nonmetal mines safety work system from traditional safety information management to the intellectualized decision of safety information.To solve the safety administration problems,we must develop safety assessment expert system on underground metal and nonmetal mines.We can make use of this system to improve metal and nonmetal mines safety administration capacity and reduce casualties and property losses of metal and nonmetal mines.Firstly, this issue analyzes safety work situations of domestic underground metal and nonmetal mines. It describes the related contents of Expert System and Safety Assessment.Based on them,We select object-oriented technology,C++, as the language of the expert system program development.Secondly,the safety laws and safety technology standard of mines are the sources of safety knowledge.We simulate the creation of the underground metal and nonmetal mines Safety Standardization.Then,we acquire safety rules,the weights,memberships and other safety knowledge,and model the safety assessment system of underground metal and nonmetal mines. Based on VC++Platform and the list of properties, we can model a safety knowledge logic tree.Then,we model a knowledge base of safety assessment expert system on underground metal and nonmetal mines.Thirdly,based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Assessment,we select the reasoning strategy and design a mathematical model of inference engine of safety assessment expert system.Then based on VC++Platform and C++class of encapsulation, we model all kinds of C++class for each mine sub system. We develope the safety assessment expert system inference engine.This inference engine can invoke safety knowledge of the knowledge base and acquire dynamic data to be reasoning and calculate them.Finally,according to knowledge base and inference engine features and based on the MFC of VC++Platform,develop convenient and intelligent human-computer interaction interface.We test the safety assessment expert system by designing special data.This safety assessment expert system is used in some mine.The assessment reuslts are in line with human expert’s assessment conclusions.
