| Impinging stream (IS) concept was first proposed by Elperin in1961, andthe research about IS mainly focused on taking gas as the continuous phase, withthe purpose of strengthening interfacial transfer. Although the industrialapplication has not succeeded, the impinging stream itself still has outstandingoriginality and superiority; it is equipped with a superior qualification ofstrengthening interfacial transfer remarkably, and such problems of transportphenomena are always common existence in chemical, petrochemical andprocess industries. This kind of reaction at the molecular scale, and the devicesof micro mixing conditions on the reaction process have a significant effect onthe efficiency. In recent years, it has been discovered that its superior micromixing and strong pressure fluctuations in nature, and thus impact flow fieldsignificantly shifted to liquid as the continuous phase in the multiphase system,so the liquid as the continuous phase impinging stream of research has a muchmore vital significance.
