Using the steam huff and puff in heavy oil production appears most early in the nineteen fifties, as a relatively simple and mature steam injection exploitation technology, currently in Venezuela, the United States and Canada wide application. The research on the basis of extensive literature, summarizes the cyclic steam stimulation principle, characteristics, thermal model development, as well as the problems existing in the present stage, a prospect of its future development direction. Studies suggest that: cyclic steam injection in heavy oil development still will continue to occupy an important position; its production principle is complicated, is a complex, technical difficulty is great system engineering; into the middle and late stages of development, must use various means to improve stimulation effect and timely convert to proper two heat recovery.For effective mining of residual oil potential, improve development result, for the first time in Tuha oil field in thin oil reservoirs were steam flooding for enhanced oil recovery research. The numerical simulation on the basis of the study, a comprehensive analysis of the various factors affecting steam flooding, optimization of injection-production parameters of steam injection scheme, optimization, and through the field test evaluation of steam flooding effect. The results show that:steam flooding water flooding reservoir effectively, by increasing recoverable reserves, realizing steam drive and water flooding of complementary advantages, enhance the oil recovery rate, better development effect.Tuha oilfield Santanghu Xixia ditch three trial blocks high oil viscosity, reservoir physical property is poor, the conventional water flooding in low productivity, in order to improve the development of the block effect to enhance the oil recovery rate, in the experimental area preferably portion of the well in thermal recovery test, after heavy oil development+thermal stimulation effect on. Understanding the steam huff Santanghu oilfield Xixia ditch on three low permeability heavy oil block adaptive; analysis of steam huff and puff increase single well productivity potential; exploration of cyclic steam stimulation in low permeability heavy oil reservoir of supporting technology and process parameters, form a set to conform to this block reservoir characteristics in the development of technology, as a whole block of efficient development to provide technical support.
