Because of the less investment, simple equipment construction, easy operation, energyconservation and good adaptability,the progressing cavity pump(PCP)oil extraction has beenpaid much more attentions to in fields at home and abroad. The main part of PCP are thestator and rotor, the stator-rotor meshing characteristics is directly affect the performance ofentire PCP systems, also the most important part in the process of designing. In linear designprocess, the winding phenomenon of the stator-rotor profile would reduce its service life, andrestricted directly limit the application and development in of oil field.According to the foundation of screw pump linear theory, the paper establish the mostwidely used ordinary linear and a short twisting PCP parametric model,by deep researchingin the theory of linear, found the reason of contour line twisting. With the graph ways showsthe relationships among the head number of the PCP, the biggest winding isometric radiusand the luffing coefficient, intuitively shows the single PCP’s stator-rotor winding range.The paper research the ellipse rotor single PCP’s stator-rotor contour line, and furtherdescribed a method which avoid the winding stator-rotor contour formation, getting startfrom ellipse rotor PCP’s simplified formula, puts forward the accurate form method of ellipsePCP.Because single PCP stator-rotor contour line’s complexity, the core mold processing isdifficult to make, and slow down the processing efficiency. In the study, based on theachievement,the paper deep discuss the rotor and stator’s punching process, andcalculated the right section and normal section’s space coordinates points, puts forward afeasible and minor error method in section interpolation, and theoretically the advantage inprocessing efficiency and machining precision, and also pointed out the existence deficiencyof the processing method.
