| Liquefied Natural Gas (the following refers to as LNG), due to its safe and convenientto use, easy to store and transport, makes the demand of the LNG rapid growing, so thedemand of the tank (LNG tanks) be used to processing and storage of liquefied Natural Gasis increasing, and toward large-scale development. The problem of large-scale LNG storagetank’s security also becomes the focus of the research.At present the most widely used typeis the full containment LNG storage structure. Under the strong earthquake function, oncethe LNG storage tank has been destructed, may cause explosion or leak, resulting in seriouslosses but would also produce secondary disasters. Therefore, the LNG storage tank seismicstudies are particularly important.The study of our designers on the LNG storage tank wasunder the load-bearing ability of static structures, damage mechanism as well as theresearch of one-dimensional seismic ground motion. Actual seismic ground motion is notone-dimensional incentive. The actual earthquake damage show that the destruction of thestructure by the influence of the multidimensional seismic ground motion, structural seismicanalysis only considering single seismic action is not enough. Based on this kind of presentsituation, static analysis on the basis of this paper has the full containment LNG storagetank concrete outer tank seismic response analysis, consider the impact of three directionseismic ground motion and provide a theoretical basis for engineering applications.This paper aims to study concrete outer wall of LNG tank, which points to the fullcontainment of50000m3LNG inner storage tank leakage, LNG tank’s concrete outer wallof modal analysis and seismic response analysis, the main work is as follows:1. Established finite element model of the LNG tanksUsing finite element software of the ADINA, has established the finite element modelof the full containment LNG tanks. To select a reasonable simulation the outer wall of thestorage tanks of the concrete solid element, the shell element of inner tank and simulationthe liquid of the liquid potential fluid element.2. The analysis of the LNG tanks modalEstablish the model of the empty tank and the inner tank of liquid in, carries on themodal analysis respectively, get the first ten order frequency and modes of the outer wall ofthe storage tanks and verify the correctness of the model. Provides the basis for the structuresystem’s vibration characteristic analysis as well as the structure dynamic analysis.3. The seismic response analysis of the LNG tanks According to the engineering situation, selecte the four categories of seismic wavefield, qian’an wave, El-centro wave, Taft wave and tian jin wave. Analysis the earthquakeresponse of the internal tank leakage under the condition of different height of several typesof tank, to carry on unidirectional, the bidirectional level and the three seismic wave.Obtains the storage tank feature time interval curve and the displacement, the acceleration,the stress, strain distribution rule and the peak point of the acceleration under earthquakewave action of the LNG storage tanks, provides the theory basis and the numerical analysisfor the actual. |
