| Aluminum alloy as the traditional light metal with low density, high strength, ductility, plastic, and a series of advantages, widely used in aerospace, defense automotive, machinery and other industries. However, aluminum and its alloys are susceptible to oxidation in the process of melting, pouring, inhale, making easily the formation of oxide inclusions in liquid aluminum, which greatly reduced the quality of aluminum castings, to some extent limit the aluminum applications. Using the orthogonal method to optimize the four components (KCl,NaCl, Na2SiF6, NaF) on the basis of the traditional formula of Al-Si alloy refining agent, and find the best combination. Their contents and results are as follows:(1) NaCl (total amount of liquid aluminum for735g) by adding the amount of1.4g or1.6g of KC1by adding the amount of1.0g or1.2g, Na2SiF6amount of0.4g or0.6g NaF amount of0.4g,Gas content will be relatively small.(2) NaCl the amount of1.4g, KCl amount for1.0g the, Na2SiF6amount for0.6g by NaF amount of0.4g (total liquid aluminum735g), edge and center parts of the oxide inclusions are less.To sum up my entire experimental data in the refining of A356(total liquid aluminum for735g), in Hexachloroethane amount of0.8g the same circumstances, the best ratio of NaCl in the level of1.4g (2) and KC11.0g (2levels), Na2SiF6in0.6g (2levels) NaF in0.4g (2levels). |
