| The belt conveyor is the most important bulk materials long-distance transport equipment. One of them is steel cord belt conveyor. Because its continuous transport capacity and easy to implement automatic control, it is becoming widely used in coal production. With the long-distance, high belt speed, large capacity requirements, conveyor technology is becoming more and more rapidly. The higher mechanical and electrical equipment is demanding to protect their normal transport. The operating conditions of belt conveyor is directly related to production equipment and the safety of staff. Such as in the event of longitudinal tear, and if not timely detection of it, it will cause great economic losses. So it is necessary to study the belt conveyor monitoring system. With the development of modern technology, especially the development of microelectronics technology, electromechanical technology has been improved. The development trend of monitoring system is combining computer technology and test software, and one of the typical technology is virtual instrument technology. In this paper, using virtual instrument development platform LabVIEW and USB-6229data acquisition card, and combined with photoelectric sensors and conditioning circuits, develops a monitoring belt deviation, skid, longitudinal tear fault monitoring system.This paper first introduces the structure and working principle of the conveyor.Then there are a brief description of the main fault forms, to lay the foundation for the design of the monitoring methods. Secondly, according to the sensor monitoring theory and field work environment, we need to choose the right photoelectric sensors to monitor vatious failure. And, according to the needs of a variety of monitoring,it needs reasonable layout and installation sensor. The sensor can achieve the initial signal acquisition,and process it, then access the NI data acquisition card USB-6229. Programmed in LabVIEW, it need to reprocess the signal, for making it becoming easy to extract and compare in computer. To achieve relatively alarm, speed real-time display, sensor status display, signal analysis, data processing, data storage and other features.This paper develops a belt conveyor monitoring system on the platform of LabVIEW. Simulation experiment shows that this system is not only friendly interface, but also timely reflect the occurrence of the fault. It is to remind staff to repair for different fault. Then the system can also storage of historical data, to easy to check, and ready for conveyor design reference.Applied to LabVIEW to the belt conveyer fault monitoring, not only provides a good plan for the belt conveyor monitoring, also expand the space for the application and development of LabVIEW. |
