Abstract/Summary:
As one of the most important part in machine tools, the dynamic performance ofthe spindle box influences the machining precision directly. So it needs to make ananalysis about dynamic performance on the part of the spindle box. The present studymakes a dynamics analysis on the part of the spindle box which named spindle box ofC43125crankshaft connecting rod machine.There are finite element analysis software and theory introduced. And based onthe finite element model of spindle, it gets vibration and frequency of the first eightmodes through the modal analysis and critical speed by calculating, which give aconclusion that no resonance can be happen with no load.The critical speed andcutting force of spindle are get by calculating, Based on it, the harmonic responseanalysis can be made. With it, a deformation map and value can be obtained.A three-dimensional modeling of box is made with Solidworks. For improvingthe modal and reducing the mass, the finite element model of spindle box is made as abasis to perform a topology optimization in ANSYS. With the result, it makes a twotime design, which reduces the mass and improves the performance of box.There’re three-dimensional modeling of gears made. With the cutting force andspeed calculated above, it can load the gears. And an explicit dynamics on gear ismade with the module named LS-DYNA in ANSYS, which gets the contact stress andstress cloud chart and finds the week points. With it, it makes a fatigue analysis, andgives a suggestion about improving life.With the dynamics analysis on the part of spindle box, week points are found.And a certain extent evaluation and improvement are given. It is a basics for otheranalysis on C43125crankshaft connecting rod machine.
