In the modern industrial age, petroleum has held an important role in the economic development and national strategy. It has replaced coal as the first energy. During the exploration and mining, gathering and transportation, refining and sales all process involved, petroleum is inseparable from the oil field and refining chemicals. They are important guarantees for oil exploration and development. Especially with developing of the relevant subjects, worsing oil exploration and the mining conditions, enhancing of oil recovery rate and environmental protection, chemical agents are used widely for working smoothly, and the requirement for chemical agents are more and more critical.There are many kinds of oilfield and refining chemicals, most of them are very complex. They may be hazardous chemicals. When usage, storage and transportation, we should make sure chemicals safe to avoid incident. A manual safety guide is demanding for these. An affiliated enterprise of Sinopec was studied for a case. We analyzes the enterprise with oil field and refining chemicals risk, trying to use the existing lab equipment, study in building the safety specification of usage storage and transportation of oilfield and refining chemicals.In this thesis, microencapsulated gel breaker (known as00#sample) was chosen for main reactant and the other five samples were as secondary agents. The vacuum stability and DSC tests were used to determine samples which were single component and mixed systems. Chemicals’stability and compatibility property can be got from these tests judging with GJB.
