Cold Pad Batch Dyeing has the characteristics of economical, environment friendlyand high-quality. It is not only energy-saving and low-polluted but also can receive goodproducts to meet consumers’ expect. The process of the method can be carried out simplify,cost-effectively and non requirement of too much space. Thus it wins high favors andworthy of developing and widespread.A large amount of efforts was spend on exploring how the relevant factors influencedthe dyeing effects of cold pad-batch dyeing of reactive-dyes on cotton, including differentproperties of four kinds of reactive dyes(Reactive Yellow3RS,Cibacron C-2BL Red, RGBCyan and BES Navy Blue),various of alkaline agents and the dyeing time. Results showedthat, the optimum process on cotton-dyeing is, for Reactive Yellow3RS which is sodiumcarbonate40g/L, stacking at room temperature for15h; for Cibacron C-2BL: sodiumcarbonate40g/L,10h; While for RGB Cyan and BES Navy Blue: sodium hydroxide4g/Lmixed with sodium carbonate40g/L,15h. It can lead to products with high color fastness. On the basis of the study above, the technology of cold pad batch dyeing on silk andsilk/cotton composite-filament fabrics was also introduced in this paper. And how therelevant factors such as category of dyes which be used in the test, the type and dose offixing alkaline agent and stacking-time, influenced the dyeing effect was studied. Theoptimum process was received, for Reactive Yellow3RS and Navy Blue BES which issodium carbonate40g/L,stacking at room temperature for15h; for Cibacron C-2BL:sodium carbonate40g/L mix with sodium silicate40g/L,10h. The qualities of dyedproducts including fixation and color fastness turned out to be satisfactory. |
